im not sure if this will help you or anybody else out but its what i do
i look in the mirror a LOT
not in a vain way or anything
the more i look at myself, the easier it is for me to accept who i am and how wonderful things about me are.
look in the mirror before you take a shower or before you put your make up on and search for something about yourself that you like. it could be the curve of your shoulders, the way your eyes look when your head is tilted down or it could just be that you like your big toe!
do this everyday and soon you will see how everything about you has its own beauty.

But don’t let yourself get preoccupied with the negatives. Just be honest and realistic about them, but focus on the good things about you. You need to develop this HABIT over time.
Here is a book that can help you a lot, if you will DO the written exercises enough to learn the powerful tools so that you can adapt them to your needs. If you go to the website below, be sure to scroll down and read the reader reviews.
The Panic Puzzle Review
Yeah, quit the TV-addict – it does a lot more bad than good, believe.
And then focus on what you CAN do rather than what you can’t. Simple, and positive, life-philosophy but transforming nevertheless
Good luck
