How to be confident and how to build my self esteem?

I luv me some chris breezy

So, Im. I took a trip w 15 and my self esteem is really low. I have crooked teeth, and that makes it worse. I never smile in photo’s. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even go outside anymore. I took a trip with my grandma, and when she was about to take a picture, I accidently was smiling with my teeth showing and she said ” close your mouth”. It really hurt! I heard people say that if someone has a good self esteem and looks and acts confident, they will acctually be confident. I think I’m going to get braces in 3 months. I also have bad acne. How can I learn to be confident?? Also, how do i build my self esteem?? Any advice or tips will be appriciated! Thanks

You can get braces & other braces like things to help correct your teeth. Most people at some point have to & now even more adults are now a days. As for the selfesteem that will come with time especially if you correct your teeth issue which may not be as bad as you think or even your grandma. I have several friends who have yellow teeth or bad breath or actually missing teeth & do fine not that I’m saying that those things are good. Part of it is what you think of yourself that affects what others think of you. Dont worry about your grandma & remember the teeth thing can be fix but it wont be over night but the sooner you try it the sooner it will be over & now it can be less then 2 years & you can have nice teeth. Obviously its not cheap but it is worth it…

well braces r problaby a good idea, and get proactive or c a dematologist and get sum good acne fighting cream. those2 things right there will help big time! to be confident u have to act it so dont be afriad of being u be u no matter wat. and if ppl dont like u then who gives a butt bout them! lol go on a shoppin spree and get up to date clothes to help u with the confident thing too maybe u can consider wearing maeup but that is a optional decsion well bestz luck!

Well, I don’t know what your resources are, but, it seems to me you’re almost there.

No. 1 – this is true – just pretend to be confident. Only an idiot is truly confident – the rest of us are just pretending. This truly works. I’m probably the most confident person that most of my friends will admit to knowing. But, it’s just a front. But it works. Start smiling right now and hold your head up to the world.

No. 2 – curing acne takes some money. to be sure, but it takes more determination than anything else. INSIST that you get to visit a dermatologist. (this can be part of your new self-confidence game!) Then, do EXACTLY what the Doc says, no matter what. And if it’s not a LOT better in a short time, go back to the Doc and exert some more of that confidence.

No. 3 – get the braces, and from that day forward, for the REST OF YOUR LIFE – never go more than 6 months without visiting a good dentist. Nothing like dental health to inspire confidence.

    Go get ‘em!

Mabe your stong point is not soley in your appearance. look for things that you are good with, musical instruments, singing, painting, designing, love can help as well.

Confidence and self esteem are parelleled to a point. One way to build self esteem that i use is to ignore other peoples opinions on how you look as long as you like how you look. if you dont like something… fix it sounds like you have the right idea with the braces. After i became more confident in myself by being satisfied with my looks, my build, and the way i dressed i got more complements even though i knew i wasnt perfect i still accepted on what i looked like as me. and the only way to go was up.
